NATTCO Celebrates Year of Participation with Tile Partners for Humanity

After nearly one year of participation in Habitat for Humanity projects, the North American Tile Tool Company (NATTCO) has signed on to participate in yet another Habitat build in Houston, Texas. Teaming up with Habitat volunteers and the Tile Partners for Humanity (TPFH), NATTCO will be providing buckets of the firm’s high-quality tile tools for the Houston SuperBUILD project which will help to install tile in 38 Habitat homes.

Tile Partners for Humanity is proud to provide ceramic tile products, installation services, financial support and volunteer hours to Habitat for Humanity. According to Ally Fertitta, executive director of Tile Partners for Humanity, Habitat for Humanity affiliates and local volunteers can build stronger, lower maintenance, attractive homes that will last for years to come.

NATTCO’s participation, as well as tile industry participation as a whole in projects like the Houston SuperBUILD, helps to make TPFH a continued success.

“NATTCO has been a phenomenal partner over the past year,” said Fertitta. “In addition to the buckets and tools provided for our projects, Keith Haney, Vice President of NATTCO sales, has donated labor to help install tile in LaGrange, Ga., NATTCO has always jumped to participate when we ask for their help and we couldn’t ask for anything more from a successful partnership. We hope to continue building with them for years to come!”

NATTCO’s year with TPFH included builds in: Charlotte, NC, for the Habitat for Humanity/Do It Yourself Network Build, in LaGrange, GA, for the Jimmy Carter Work Project, and the Charlotte, NC, Habitat for Humanity Elon Homes Build.

“In addition to supporting Tile Partners for Humanity through donations of products and installation labor, NATTCO has generously pledged financial support to our organization. TPFH is funded exclusively by industry contributions and we couldn’t continue without the fantastic support of partners like NATTCO,” added Fertitta.

The upcoming Houston SuperBUILD, named in light of Super Bowl XXXVIII, will take place this spring over a period of two months. NATTCO will donate tools and labor for the event.

Working with the tile industry and old friends from the industry on the projects is a great experience. It’s really wonderful that our participation has made such a difference for these folks already.
