From Curt Rapp, President
and CEO of TheTileDoctor.com:
“The Tile Doctor was founded on the principle
of providing to the consumer unbiased information
about our industry in a format that can be understood.
When the possibility of contributing to the formation
of the first industry wide charitable organization
was proposed, we simply dug in and went to work.
The Tile Doctor has provided start up capital,
Internet presence, and most of all the donations
of our time and effort to bring about this worthwhile
organization. All the tile industry organizations
have come together to support this venture in
unprecedented fashion. Our mission to provide
tile for every Habitat for Humanity house in
North America is lofty but attainable in the
future.” |

Jimmy Carter Work Project LaGrange
(Georgia, June 2003)
The Tile Doctor helped coordinate and plan the
tile industry’s participation in the Jimmy
Carter Work Project. TTD Founder Curt Rapp and
Tile Doctor Paul Wilson donated four days of
labor in LaGrange. Both men installed tile and
trained other volunteers to install tile in the
homes. |
