From Marc Mularoni, Strategic Account Manager for TEC:

“I'm glad that I was able to be a part of such special project. TEC appreciates the opportunity to be a part of this by donating the setting/grouting material. What made the experience better was that I was able to donate some of my time to Tile Partners for Humanity. I enjoyed helping out on this project, and look forward to working with TPFH on future projects.”

From Mason Mularoni, son of Marc Mularoni of TEC:

“It was hard work, but I learned a lot! I liked meeting and working with new people and it was fun to see how a house is built. Being able to donate my time to such a good cause as Habitat for Humanity made my work more enjoyable.”

Fall Build: HFH of Greater Indianapolis (Indiana, October 2004)

Specialty Construction Brands, the manufacturer of TEC brands and also a first-time TPFH partner, donated all of the setting materials, cleaners and sealers for 24 homes built as part of the Indianapolis affiliate’s Fall Build. That donation included TEC Full Flex® thin set mortar, AccuColor® grout, and Grout Guard PlusTM penetrating silicone sealer and Refresh Pro® stone and tile cleaner, which will preserve and protect the natural beauty of the tile and keep it looking like new for years to come. The TEC brand is owned by SCB, a fully owned subsidiary of H.B. Fuller Co. (NYSE: FUL).

Marc Mularoni, a TEC strategic account manager, donated time to help install tile in the homes and teach new homeowners and other volunteers to install. For Mularoni, the project was a chance to personally give back to a community served by his company and to work with Adam Beck of Louisville Tile, which carries TEC Specialty Products. Mularoni’s 14-year-old son Mason worked alongside him in the home of Renda Collins.

From Jim Griffin, President and General Manager of SCB:

“We are delighted to contribute products and expertise to Tile Partners for Humanity, which is a great cause and one that we’re proud to be associated with. It’s very gratifying to know that our technologically advanced solutions will go to very good use in two dozen homes for Indianapolis families in need.”
