Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte/Elon Homes Build
(North Carolina, September 2003)

LATICRETE donated all of the setting materials for the Elon Homes project, including thinset (253 Rapid Setting Multi-Purpose Thinset) and grout (1500 series sanded grout that was fortified with Laticrete's newly reformulated Grout Admix Plus with Microban). James Mounce, LATICRETE technical representative based in Charlotte, donated labor to install the tile.

“I have been involved with a number of high profile projects in the Carolinas with Laticrete International over the years, but this one was special for me. It was a chance to work locally for the good of my own community. My home is in Charlotte, and I love living here, so there was no way that I was going to miss an opportunity to help TPFH with the Elon Homes project. The houses are only a couple miles from where I live and it did my heart good to help a neighbor get into a home with ceramic tile. I am proud to be associated with this project. The work that Elon does here in the Charlotte area is well known and respected.”
