From Lepicia Aguillon, new homeowner in Rio Bravo, on the time donated by Rick Alvarado of Laticrete and other industry partners:

“This is a blessing. We’re very happy that they’ve come out to help us. And it’s an opportunity to learn new things.”

Laticrete International:   Setting materials for the full project, including thinset mortar and SpectraLock grout, as well as several days of installation labor and training

Rick Alvarado of Laticrete International donated several days to work with Habitat volunteers and new homeowners in Rio Bravo, Texas, to install tile in new Habitat homes. Habitat for Humanity of Laredo/Webb County asked TPFH partners for tile because the homes are part of a neighborhood that rests on the US/Mexican border just south of Laredo. As a result, conditions are extremely hot, dry and dusty, and homeowners recognized the ease of maintenance and durability associated with ceramic tile. Master Tile donated tile for four of the six homes and Bricks & Tile International, with a presence in Laredo, donated tile for two homes.
