I think this partnership will help us educate our affiliates across the country to the importance of building a house that is usable by the families and which, by its very nature, will be easy to clean and the families will be able to keep clean at a very minimal expense.

Jimmy Carter Work Project of LaGrange
(Georgia, June 2004)

Daltile Marietta SSC 195 donated 3,000 square feet of 8x8 and 12x12 ceramic floor tile to Troup/Chambers County Habitat for Humanity for the 2003 Jimmy Carter Work Project. The SSC also donated materials to the Habitat for Humanity of Atlanta ReStore.

From Ian Street, Store Manager, Daltile Marietta SSC 195 (Store Manager at time of project)

“When contacted by Tile Partners for Humanity, we saw an opportunity to provide tile for the Habitat homes. This provided us with an avenue for overstocked and discontinued products. What a great program this is! We are glad to support it with our tile. We know our product will be put to good use in Habitat homes.”
