I think this partnership will help us educate our affiliates across the country to the importance of building a house that is usable by the families and which, by its very nature, will be easy to clean and the families will be able to keep clean at a very minimal expense.

Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte/Elon Homes Build
(North Carolina, September 2003)

Daltile 221 of Charlotte, NC, donated 400 square feet of tile to the Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte/Elon Homes Build as well as six Schluter strips and ten threshold pieces. In addition, Jamie Beck, a customer service specialist, donated one day of labor to install the tile and work with other volunteers.
