The industry has a big heart and it makes perfect sense to create a vehicle through which all associated can contribute. I have long known of Habitat for Humanity, but not exactly what they did and stood for. It was very gratifying to “give back”. I’m a bit old-fashioned at heart and believe in community togetherness. I know my company, Custom Building Products, is very supportive of community as well.

Custom Architectural Consultant Chip O’Rear donated two days of labor to install tile in Gerri Porter’s home in LaGrange as part of the 2003 Jimmy Carter Work Project. O’Rear is based in Atlanta, Ga.
