From Homeowner Adero Burbridge in Charlotte, N.C.

“I was very excited to learn that I would have tile but did not know the first thing about picking tile. I must admit I was a little intimidated when I saw the variety I had to choose from! Tami at Crossville Tile and Stone was extremely helpful -- and patient. She really took her time explaining the different sizes and patterns of the beautiful tiles. The entire staff was very friendly and that was important to me.”

Crossville:
Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte/The Do-it-Yourself Network Build (North Carolina, June 2004)

Crossville Tile and Stone in Charlotte, N.C., donated 300 square feet of tile and all of the tile installation materials for a Habitat for Humanity home built in Charlotte. Manager Roy Irwin donated the materials and Sales Associate Tami France personally helped the homeowner, Adero, select the tile. Sales Associate Toni Mann assisted with the donation and attended the house dedication with France. DIY-Do It Yourself Network taped the entire building process of the home for a five-part, on-air workshop, which debuted on the network September 22, 2003. Tile installation is covered in the workshop, titled Lending a Hand: Habitat for Humanity. The program is part of a national public affairs partnership between DIY and Habitat for Humanity International.
