From Marilyn King, Executive Director of Habitat
for Humanity of Bowling Green/Warren County:
Our partner families know from the day they receive
their deed that they will have no replacement costs
for the kitchen and bathroom floors of their home.
We could not afford to provide this quality to them
without the generous contribution of materials from
Louisville Tile and James Hardie Building Products.
Any time we can reduce future maintenance costs it
is a "win-win" for all involved. |

| Louisville Tile donated not only
ceramic tile but also TEC setting materials, including
thinset and sanded grout, for 500 square feet of
floor space tiled in the Habitat home of Jacqueline
Blair and her two daughters. Habitat volunteers
installed the tile on their own because they worked
in July with industry professionals to learn the
craft. The Blair family moved in to their new home
on Dec. 31, 2004. There are no current pictures
from this project, but TPFH will post them as soon
as they are available. |
