From Marilyn King, executive director of Habitat
for Humanity of Bowling Green/Warren County, Inc.:
"Partnerships such as the one with Tile Partners
for Humanity allow us to give our partner families
quality products that we could not afford to put into
their houses if they were not donated. While we are
committed to keeping housing affordable and basic,
it is a real bonus to know that through these donations
we are adding beauty,
value and durability to the houses plus saving the
homeowners money on future floor replacement. This
is in keeping with everything that Habitat represents
and we are thankful for the opportunity to be one of
the recipients of these products for our partner families.
They are so excited about their new homes and this
experience has been "win-win" for everyone
involved."
From Doug Miles, Owner, Miles Distributors:
“We appreciate the opportunity to support this
program. Through TPFH, we really feel like the industry
has stepped to the plate and is helping to build stronger
Habitat homes. We look forward to working on projects
throughout our service area.”
From Stacey Otto, James Hardie Product Manager:
“James Hardie Building Products was honored
to have the opportunity to participate in this project.
We certainly admire the contribution that the organization
is making to the community, as well as its commitment
to providing affordable housing. As a company, we’ve
been very fortunate with our growth, and we felt this
was an excellent opportunity for us to give back and
to make a positive difference.”
