From Glenn Prehn, Owner, Perdido Home Tile:

“This was our first Habitat project and we were tickled to do it. We have a close-knit group and we enjoyed working with Tile Partners for Humanity to help a new homeowner in our community. The project went well and that makes it easier for us to want to do it again.”

Pensacola Habitat for Humanity: wheelchair-accessible home (Florida, July 2004)

Perdido Home Tile donated installation labor to tile 900 square feet of floor and wall space in the home of Frecenda Mitchell and her five children in July 2004. Frecenda’s 21-year-old son David is in a wheelchair, so Perdido contractors tiled his bedroom, the hallway and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and shower in addition to the kitchen, dining, laundry and entry areas. Owner Glenn Prehn worked with Aaron Crosby, Shannon Stabler, Chris Hughes and Vince Hamilton to complete the project.
