Bart Bettiga, Vice-Chairman of the TPFH Board of Directors
National Tile Contractors Association Executive Director

“I am delighted to have been chosen by Tile Partners
for Humanity for inclusion on its board of directors. For
many years, I have admired the collaborative efforts of
all those involved in Habitat for Humanity. The need for
affordable and quality housing is enormous. Our industry
has enjoyed outstanding growth in recent years, and one
way to give back to our respective communities is through
the support of this project. Ceramic tile is an excellent
product to be considered for Habitat homes. I look forward
to doing my part to help make a difference in people’s
lives.”
From Sonja Lindsay, Habitat homeowner in Jackson, Mississippi:
“My family is very appreciative of all the efforts
by NTCA to provide tile for our home. My boys and I love
it!”
From Bart Bettiga, Executive Director of National Tile
Contractors Association:
“There is no better charity for our industry to
embrace than Habitat for Humanity. The newly-formed TPFH
is the vehicle for this to occur.”

NTCA Executive Director Bart Bettiga and Membership
Chairman Bob Brown donated their labor and expertise
to install tile in the new home of Sonja Lindsey
in Jackson, Mississippi, in November 2003. While
NTCA has helped coordinate labor for a number of
TPFH projects, this marked the first time either
Bettiga or Brown had participated in a Habitat
project. Bettiga has since participated in other
Habitat projects in the Jackson community. |
