Louisville Tile projects:

HFH of Bowling Green/Warren KY: single-house build: see below for details
Fall Build: HFH of Greater Indianapolis: see below for details and pictures

Louisville Tile donated tile and TEC setting material to tile 500 square feet in one home in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in December 2004. Volunteers with the affiliate had worked with tile industry members in July to tile three other homes and were able to tile the house without any professional assistance. TPFH will post pictures from this project as soon as they are available.

Fall Build: HFH of Greater Indianapolis (Indiana, October 2004)

Louisville Tile donated nearly 4,300 square feet of tile for installation in half of the 24 homes built as part of the Indianapolis affiliate’s 2004 Fall Build in October of last year. This marked Louisville Tile’s first project with TPFH. Adam Beck, store manager of the Indianapolis location of Louisville Tile, donated time to help install tile and teach new homeowners and other volunteers how to do so.

From Randy Parker, President of Louisville Tile:

“Part of Louisville Tile’s mission as a company is to be a friend to our community and a leader in our industry,” he said. “We were ready and honored to join Tile Partners for Humanity in this effort because it’s a natural extension of our company’s 50-year history of giving back.”

From Adam Beck, Store Manager of Louisville Tile’s Store in Indianapolis:

“Overall, it was a great experience for me. I was given the opportunity to speak on the phone with one of the homeowners whose house received some of my personal attention. Her expression of deep and sincere gratitude made the whole experience much more worthwhile than I could have imagined.”
