Dyer Home Project (Florida, February 2005)

Elite Building Products donated all of the setting materials, including Multipurpose Hi-Flex Thinset Mortar and Sanded Grout, to tile 750 square feet of floor and wall space in the Dyer family home. While this project was not affiliated with Habitat for Humanity, the Dyers needed help building a home large enough to accommodate their large family, including three-year-old quadruplets. Elite representative John Gallman donated one day to work with the family and teach them to set tile.

Ally Fertitta of TPFH uses a NATTCO notched trowel to comb Elite thinset mortar over Hardibacker tile backerboard in the Dyer laundry room.   Lila Dyer, grandmother of the quadruplets, uses a NATTCO notched trowel to spread Elite thinset mortar over Hardibacker in this bathroom.

Jody Dyer, grandfather of the quadruplets, uses a NATTCO notched trowel to install Crossville tile with Elite thinset mortar and Hardibacker tile backerboard.   Penny Dyer uses a NATTCO notched trowel to comb out Elite thinset mortar as she sets Crossville tile in the master bathroom.

Kristina Petrandis, cousin of Dwain Dyer, uses a NATTCO float to spread Elite sanded grout over Crossville tile in the master bath.   Elite donated its cedar-colored sanded grout, which matched the cabinet color and other flooring in the home.

Penny Dyer washes the laundry room floor after using a NATTCO float to grout it with Elite's cedar-colored sanded grout.   Penny Dyer, mother of the quadruplets, uses Elite thinset mortar, NATTCO tools and Easy Pull tile spacers to install Crossville tile in her new laundry room.
