Habitat for Humanity Valley of
the Sun (Arizona, November 2004)
Frank Farmer of Bonded Materials donated time
to work with the Arizona chapter of the Ceramic
Tile Institute of America and Phoenix-based House
of Tiles to teach volunteers with Habitat for
Humanity Valley of the Sun to install and grout
ceramic tile in two homes. The Habitat affiliate
actively solicited local volunteers to build
a “tile team” that will assume responsibility
for tiling future Habitat homes in the community.
Bonded Materials donated the thinset mortar and
grout used in the homes and led the instruction
on grouting for the volunteers. Pictures coming
